TurningPoint Student Response System in Canvas

INTRO TO TURNINGPOINT
The Student Response System (SRS) allows instructors to pose questions and gather students' responses during a lecture. Student response systems are also commonly referred to as clickers, classroom response systems, personal response systems, or audience response systems. Learn how to integrate "clickers" in your classroom or come along to get a refresher.

This session is designed to get new users up and running using the basics of this polling environment. The ultimate goal of the training is for users to feel confident to immediately use the PowerPoint application for basic polling. The session will show how to build an interactive presentation, run the presentation in the classroom, and generate reports afterwards. Participants will feel comfortable setting up and using the hardware. A demonstration of ResponseWare, using any web-enable device to answer questions, will also be shown.

TURNINGPOINT IN CANVAS
Already using TurningPoint but wondering how it works in Canvas? The TurningPoint in Canvas session will walk through importing the class list from Canvas to TurningPoint, updating the list, and exporting scores from TurningPoint back to Canvas.

Intended for instructors who are already familiar with TurningPoint and polling.
Please bring your laptop.
